Convenience & Top-up Shopping in Supermarkets
A study conducted by him

This report provides feedback from
those shoppers who are top-up shopping in supermarkets (i.e. spending less than
£10 per trip)...useful for our small format retailer companies and their
suppliers to help retain existing customers and attract new ones.
The study - nearly 400 face-to-face interviews with shoppers, while shopping -
was conducted during Autumn 2005. Comparisons with convenience store shoppers
have been provided, taken from HIM's Convenience Tracking Programme (CTP) which
has interviewed over half a million shoppers since 1997 across branches of 60+
retail chains or groups.
