US: Kraft Sells Balance Bar Brand |
Kraft Foods has sold its Balance Bar unit to private equity firm Brynwood Partners, for an undisclosed price. Based in the Northeast US, Balance Bar produces nutrition and energy bars.
Brynwood noted, “Balance Bar is a great brand with a very loyal consumer following. We plan to increase the focus on the brand and expand the business through increased marketing and new product innovation”.
