The QuikTrip convenience store chain has announced plans to install Blockbuster Express DVD-rental kiosks in nearly all of its 555 outlets. The company said the kiosks will be “a perfect addition to our service offerings and enable us to add entertainment to the list of items we offer to our customers and their families.”

Each DVD-rental kiosk can hold more than 900 DVDs, and the deal is the latest in a series of tie-ups that NCR has formed in recent months. NCR noted, “Our DVD-rental kiosk deployments continue to rise as c-stores such as QuikTrip realize the added value they can bring to customers while they make their purchases”.
