Walkers Crisps has topped a league table of leading household brands, as voted for by British children. The poll by magazine PR Week includes McDonald’s and Coca-Cola in the top five, while lower down come Haribo, Maltesers, Jaffa Cakes, mobile phones and computer consoles.
The World Cancer Research Fund expressed concern at the unhealthy food on the list. A spokeswoman said: "This should be a wake-up call to examine commercial targeting of children."
