The British Retail Consortium has announced that Chairman Rob Templeman is set to step down from his post in October, after just over a year in the role. The BRC said a successor is likely to be announced in September.
The organisation said that Templeman, former CEO of Debenhams, had always planned to stay in the role for one year, in order to be able to attend to other commitments. It did not specify what those other commitments are likely to be.
