AUSTRALIA: Poor Results Hurt Pay Of Top Wesfarmers’ Execs

Wesfarmers’ poor results for its last fiscal year, reported in August, have hurt the pay of its senior executives.

Group CEO Richard Goyder has seen his remuneration for the year ending 30 June 2016 drop to A$5.5m, from A$9.8m in the previous fiscal.  Group CFO Terry Bowen also saw his pay drop sharply – from A$5.3m to A$3.5m.

The second-highest paid executive was John Durkan, head of Coles, who received A$5.3m worth of remuneration.  John Gillam, head of Bunnings, was next in line with A$4.4m of remuneration.
