CANADA: Constellation Brands To List Wine Unit This Year?

Constellation Brands may publicly list its Canadian wine business in 2016, and is said to be seeking a valuation of about C$1bn.  The unit owns eight wineries and 160 retail locations across Ontario, and produces the Jackson-Triggs and Inniskillin wine brands.

According to Bloomberg News, the group is likely to launch the IPO as early as autumn this year, and will list in Toronto.

Constellation has not commented on the report.
