Nielsen has renewed its contract services covering metrics for all of Meijer’s 227 stores in the US.
The extended agreement continues Nielsen’s long standing relationship with Meijer, keeping it as the grocer’s sole provider of consumer insights and analytics with an expanded retainer of services. The two sides have worked together for nearly a decade.
Nielsen said it has expanded its tie-up with Meijer to amplify its custom collaboration programme (CCRP), an analytical platform for Meijer suppliers to gather sales and customer insights specific to the company’s product hierarchy and geography. Additionally, the deal will grow Nielsen’s dedicated account service team and provide a Meijer with “a more robust data universe with access to Nielsen Answers On Demand (AOD)”.
