Arla Continues Yogurt Expansion With ‘Big Yogs’ Launch

Arla Foods continues to expand its presence in the yogurt category, with the launch of a new fruit-and-vegetable range called ‘Big Yogs’.

The product is designed to help parents to encourage children to eat vegetables; it has added vitamins and minerals to help support their growth and development.  The launch follows extensive independent research, which found that 95% of parents questioned liked the fact that the product contained vegetables, as they can find it hard to feed their children vegetables in their usual format.

The products are made from 3% fat whole milk yogurt, natural fruit and vegetables and enriched with Vitamin D and calcium. They are naturally sweetened with fruit juice concentrate.

The range currently has two SKUs – Raspberry & Beetroot, Sweet Potato and Mango; and Blueberry & Pumpkin and Strawberry & Carrot.  They are available as 4 x 110g multi packs (RRP £1.69) from Asda.
