Dairy Crest Wins Again At Annual International Cheese Awards

Dairy Crest’s Davidstow Creamery has once again seen success at the annual (119th) International Cheese Awards (ICA) in Nantwich.

The creamery, located in the village of Davidstow in picturesque North Cornwall, won 7 awards at the Nantwich Awards. These included gold in the Extra Mature Cheddar Category, silver in the Lighter (17-24% fat) Cheese and Vegetarian Cheddar categories, and runner up in the Vintage Cheddar Cheese Lovers’ Trophy award.

Dairy Crest has enjoyed continued success at the ICAs, consistently placing gold with its Davidstow brand year on year.

Dairy Crest’s Master Cheese Grader, Mark Pitts-Tucker, comments: “To go home with so many awards for our creamery this year is a clear testament to the passion and dedication of our cheese-makers and is a reflection of the consistently high quality and exceptional taste of our Cathedral City & Davidstow branded products.”
