The Jack Link’s brand has introduced an updated recipe and pack re-design for its Beef Jerky.
The company, which owns Peperami, has updated its recipe so it has no added MSG, no added artificial colours and uses natural spices, enabling the brand to maintain high protein levels. It has also revamped its packaging design and has combined its production and packaging facilities into one place – a move that will significantly reduce its carbon footprint.
Pavan Chandra, Marketing – Jack Link’s and Peperami, noted: “With consumers becoming increasingly conscious about their health they can now enjoy the great taste of premium lean beef with the knowledge that it’s a great source of protein.” Chandra added: “Updating our packaging in line with the new recipe has really boosted the promotion of the product and highlighted its benefits while ensuring it stands out on shelf.”
Jack Link’s Beef Jerky is currently stocked in 25g packs in Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda. Founded in the 1880’s and still family-run, Jack Link’s produces high-quality protein snacks made from lean cuts of 100% beef, turkey, chicken and pork.
