Nim’s Fruit Crisps Wins ‘Best New Idea’ Award At Food & Drink Expo

A range of air dried vegetable crisps from Nim’s Fruit Crisps has been awarded the Best New Idea accolade at the 2016 Food & Drink Expo.

The range includes 100% Natural Air Dried Pepper & Courgette, Beetroot & Parsnip and Tomato & Cucumber crisps, which are all sliced and aired without the use of oil. The process helps to retain much of the nutrients whilst enhancing the authentic taste of the vegetable.

An extension of its already popular fruit crisps range, Nim’s new vegetable crisps are aimed at health conscious consumers. Made from 100% fresh vegetables, they tap into the demand for genuinely healthy lunchboxes, on-the-go and after school snacks that don’t compromise on taste.

This year’s Food & Drink Expo provided buyers from the grocery, wholesale, speciality retail, manufacturing and foodservice sectors with a unique opportunity to source new products and learn about the trends set to shape the UK food and drink industry over the coming years. It was co-located with the Farm Shop & Deli Show, National Convenience Show and Foodex exhibitions.
