The Peperami meaty snack brand has announced a partnership with The Angry Birds Movie, which goes on general release in the UK tomorrow (13 May). The movie is a spin-off of the immensely successful game from Rovio Entertainment.
The six-figure deal includes on-pack promotions across the range including characters from the movie making an appearance, and QR-like “BirdCodes” that can be redeemed for power ups in the Angry Birds Action! game. Peperami is also launching an on-pack code competition where purchasers of Peperami can log onto to a dedicated micro-site and win prizes, including two amazing holidays and thousands of The Angry Birds Movie prizes.
To support the tie-up, Peperami is running a dedicated TV ad campaign across the UK. Meanwhile the Peperami Animal hosted his own private screening of the film at Sony Pictures HQ in London on 8 May.
