SPAR Brand is revamping its small bag confectionery range following strong sales since its launch.
The £1 sharing confectionery range has achieved sales of more than £4m/year since its launch. SPAR is now adding eight new lines, all with an RRP of 45p or three for £1. The range has also been revamped with a modern design and all products are free from artificial colours and flavours. Additionally, bestselling lines Strawberry Pencils and Strawberry Laces are now available in small bags for the first time.
The eight new variants are – Bubblegum Mushrooms (60g), Build a Burger (60g), Chocolate Raisins (45g), Marshmallows (45g), Shrimps & Bananas (45g), Strawberry Milkshake Bottles (60g), Jelly Beans (60g), and Watermelon Sours (60g).
SPAR Brand is also bringing shoppers a new chocolate sharing variant, with the addition of Chocolate Pic & Mix (PMP £1), which includes a mix of chocolate coated honeycomb, biscuit, white and milk chocolate ovals, available in stores from 14 October.
The launch will be backed by PoS, social media and sampling activity.
