Health drink brand VitHit has announced that it tripled its business with Tesco in the UK. It also noted that the grocer will now stock an additional two product SKU’s from the Irish brand after reporting strong sales.
From mid-June, Tesco shoppers in the UK will be able to choose from four of VitHit’s five products – ‘Lean & Green’ (Apple & Elderflower), ‘Detox’ (Mandarin), ‘Boost’ (Berry) and ‘Immunitea’ (dragonfruit & Yuzu) – at more than 600 stores.
Gary Lavin, founder of VitHit, said: “We have aggressive plans in place to rapidly grow VitHit in the UK, and expanding SKU’s with existing customers like Tesco is the first part of this plan. It’s a very exciting time for VitHit and we look forward to further strengthening our foothold here in the UK as the year progresses.”
All VitHit products contain a maximum of 35 calories, 4g of sugar, real fruit juices, and a high concentration of vitamins and antioxidants. VitHit has become a market leader in the vitamin and health drinks category in Ireland, boasting weekly sales of more than 170,000 – outstripping Tropicana, Innocent and Coke Zero.
