Wahaca Launches First At-Home Products Through Tesco

Wahaca, the Mexican casual dining group, is set to launch a new food product range via Tesco in the UK.

Developed by Thomasina Miers (Wahaca co-founder and MasterChef winner) and her team, in partnership with All About Food, the range offers Soft Taco Kits and Mexican ingredients.   They will be available exclusively in up to 900 Tesco stores and via www.tesco.com/fb/wahaca, as well as in selected Wahaca restaurants.

The Soft Taco Kits contain tortillas, marinade and a salsa, and are available in three variants – Tomatillo & garlic mojo, Tomato & smoky chipotle, and Fiery habanero & achiote.

The range also includes a collection of individual ingredients, available for purchase separately – Tomato & smoky chipotle and Garlic & chipotle marinades; Tomatillo and Chipotle salsas; as well as flour and yellow corn tortillas.
