The Zizzi Italian restaurant chain has become the first casual dining chain in the UK to offer Thomson & Scott Skinny Prosecco, as part of its commitment to providing a menu that caters for all.
From 27 September, the 100% organic Prosecco will be available in every Zizzi restaurant across the UK as part of its new autumn winter menu. Produced from grapes grown on the south facing slopes in the foothills of the Dolomites, North East Italy, it has 1.5 teaspoons of sugar per bottle versus up to 5 in other sparkling wines.
Jo Fawcett, Marketing Director at Zizzi, commented: “Zizzi is proud to offer a menu that caters for everyone, regardless of dietary requirements or personal preference. We’re excited to be taking this one step further with Thomson & Scott Skinny Prosecco, providing a low-sugar alcoholic option.”
Amanda Thomson, CEO of Thomson & Scott Skinny Prosecco, said: “Our common commitment to transparency in food and drink makes us a natural fit for the Millennial customers who want less sugar in their lives but don’t want to compromise on taste. It’s great to see another brand providing choices for what to drink as well as what to eat.”
