Amazon has said it will create 500 new permanent jobs at its new warehouse, which is coming up in Doncaster.
The site, which is due to open in 2017, said the jobs would include positions for managers, engineers, HR and IT. The warehouse will be Amazon’s third in Doncaster/
The addition is part of Amazon’s claim that it will create 3,500 permanent jobs across the UK during 2016, taking its total number of full-time permanent staff to 15,500. The employees will start by earning a minimum wage of 7.35 an hour, and will receive private medical insurance, a pension plan and subsidised meals.
