BHS Shuts Down Flagship Store On Oxford Street

BHS has shuttered its flagship store on London’s Oxford Street for good, even as the remaining stores in the chain are expected to close by 20 August.

The outlet offered heavily discounted stock, and saw hundreds of shoppers visit it in a bid to grab some bargains.

BHS has already seen 105 of its stores being shut down by administrators Duff & Phelps and FRP Advisory, with the remaining 58 stores set to close this week.  That will bring to an end the banner’s 88-year history, following its collapse in April this year.
