Kerry Foods has promoted Victoria Southern to the role of Marketing Director for Kids Dairy Snacking, as part of company’s push to help retailers grow sales of chilled foods.
Southern moves into her new role following five years working across the Kerry Foods’ meats portfolio. She joined the business in 2010.
“We are delighted to announce Victoria’s promotion to this key role within our business,” said Kerry Foods UK MD Bob Carnell. “She brings with her a wealth of experience and will lead the marketing team in the Kid’s Dairy sector at an exciting time for the category.”
In particular, Southern will be responsible for building on a successful period for Kerry Foods’ dairy portfolio brands, Cheestrings and Yollies.
Southern added: “This is an incredibly exciting time for chilled and dairy and I am thrilled to be taking on this new challenge. The kids’ dairy snacking category is worth £428m and there is an extensive opportunity to grow and build the category.”
