Refresco Gerber Rebrands Itself Refresco

Two years on from the merger of the Refresco and Gerber Emig juice businesses to create Refresco Gerber, the company has now rebranded itself Refresco.

The group said the change reflects the successful integration of the businesses and is designed to facilitate further global expansion.

Refresco is now UK’s biggest ambient and chilled juice provider producing over 700 million litres of soft drinks per year and the leading European bottler of soft drinks and fruit juices for retailers and branded players with production in the UK, Benelux, France, Germany, Iberia, Italy, Poland and Finland. It offers brands and private label customers product innovation, sourcing, contract manufacturing and third party logistics solutions for 100% fruit juices, carbonated soft drinks and mineral waters.

Commenting on the change, David Saint, Managing Director UK, said: “The Refresco brand gives the organisation clarity and consistency, simplicity and focus. It is a unique name which will enable us to expand into new markets such as Asia and America furthering our ambitions for the business.”
