Fuller’s Boss – Half Of My Pubs Can’t Open If The Two-Metre Rule Stays

Fuller’s boss Simon Emeny is one of around 15 chief executives of hospitality and leisure companies who hold a weekly conference call with Business Secretary Alok Sharma.

In recent weeks, he and fellow chief executives – such as Andy Hornby at Wagamama owner The Restaurant Group and Whitbread boss Alison Brittain – have been calling for the government to relax social distancing rules in pubs to one metre, in line with World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines.
