Target has revealed that its latest store format will feature a Chobani Café, as the discount retailer continues to try and offer new services to customers.
The chain is set to open a ‘flexible-format’ outlet in Manhattan, its first such concept in the city, in October 2016. It will cover 45,00 sq. ft. of space, and will be the largest flexible-format store it hass ever opened.
The Chobani Café will be offer items from the manufacturer’s signature Greek yoghurt, as well as sandwiches, soups, coffee and desserts – all of which will be made with only natural ingredients. This will be Chobani’s second café – after the opening of one in New York’s SoHo neighbourhood in 2012.
Target noted: “Through Target’s flexible-format stores, we’re able to build customized stores in urban neighbourhoods – like the Tribeca store – to make it easier for guests to shop. There are a number of things we’re excited to share with guests who shop the Tribeca store, including the freshness and convenience of Chobani Café, trendy and affordable apparel and home products and a merchandise presentation that will make it fun and easy to shop.”
