Unitas Wholesale has launched the second in its 2019 series of ‘Plan for Profit’ category guides.
Following the release of its guide for the Impulse category in March, the latest guide focuses on its core and extended range for the Grocery, Non Food and Chill & Freeze categories.
The wholesaler said the Plan for Profit category range guidance has been compiled using information provided by its supplier, industry experts and member wholesalers, and includes a full listing of key products that retailers are advised to stock in order to maximise sales and profits within the Grocery, Non Food and Chill & Freeze categories.
Guidance is also included on an extended range beyond the core for those stores that have the space to stock a wider range of products.
Key category insights regarding ‘Cooking Sauces’, ‘Desserts & Homebake’, ‘Cereals’, ‘Biscuits’, ‘Hot Beverages’, ‘Toiletries & Femcare’, ‘Baby’ and ‘Pet Foods’ also feature, to help retailers better understand and grow their categories in store. New for 2019, the Plan for Profit category range guidance been updated to feature the Unitas Wholesale ‘Lifestyle’, and ‘Lifestyle Value’ own brands.

A Licensed & Tobacco edition of the booklet will be released in late Autumn.
