Nisa Postpones Annual Trade Show Due To Coronavirus

Nisa’s annual retail exhibition at Stoneleigh, that was due to take place on 24 and 25 March, has been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

In a statement, the group said: “We have been closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation to ensure we do the right thing for colleagues, partners and suppliers set to attend … Our priority remains the wellbeing of all those who were looking to attend and, as such, we took the difficult decision to postpone Nisa’s annual retail exhibition at Stoneleigh.”

The group has rescheduled the event to take place at the same venue on the 20 and 21 October 2020.

Nisa added: “All suppliers with existing bookings will be contacted to discuss the new arrangements so that we can facilitate a smooth transition to the revised dates.”

A number of industry events have already been postponed due to the coronavirus crisis. This includes the National Convenience Show, which was due to run at the NEC from 30 March to 1 April. It is now scheduled to take place at the same venue on 7-9 September, alongside Food & Drink Expo and Farm Shop & Deli Show.
