M&S To Deliver Food Boxes For Vulnerable Customers

Marks & Spencer has launched a new ‘food box’ delivery service for vulnerable and elderly customers impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.

The boxes are filled with over 20 grocery essentials, including pasta, rice, cooking sauces, baked beans, and toilet roll. There are also a few luxuries like Percy Pigs, biscuits and chocolate buttons.

The boxes can be ordered online at a cost of between £30 to £35, with a delivery fee of £3.99.

M&S stated that it will use its Sparks loyalty card data to prioritise access to customers aged over 70.

Morrisons launched a similar food box scheme last week.
