Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) has struck a deal to become the Professional Golfers’ Association’s (PGA) preferred soft drinks provider.
The agreement will also see CCEP be the official sponsor of the PGA Assistants’ Championship – one of the most popular events on the golf tournament calendar.
Paul Robertson, the bottling company’s Associate Director, said: “We at CCEP have enjoyed a strong partnership with The PGA over many years. Our brands have provided refreshment to the huge number of golfers across the UK and I hope have provided support to all the PGA Professionals at clubs throughout the country.
“I am very proud to be part of this new partnership and everyone at CCEP is looking forward to working with Liam (Greasley) and the team to build an even stronger platform for growth over the coming years.”
Liam Greasley, PGA Executive Director – Commercial, added: “Coca Cola European Partners has been a big support of The PGA for two decades, having previously supported our national pro-am series.
“As part of the agreement, PGA Members will have access to product promotions and other exclusive offers through the Association’s new wholesale & delivery service – Chapelle & Jenkins.”
