Co-op Expands Online Home Delivery In Scotland With New Partnership

Co-op has partnered with same-day home delivery specialist, Gophr, to expand the roll-out of its online store in Scotland and increase the number of slots available for shoppers.

The new service will initially go live with six Co-op stores this month in Glasgow, before rolling out to more than 50 shops across Scotland in the coming weeks.

Co-op said the service will result in thousands more delivery slots being made available across Scotland in areas such as Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Inverness and Perth.

Deliveries can be made up to four kilometres from a store and in as little as two hours through Co-op’s own online shop. Customers can choose from around 4,500 products.

Matt Arrigonie, Co-op’s Online Operations Manager, said: “We continue to look for new ways to innovate and expand access to our products and services to deliver a truly compelling offer for consumers, conveniently. By collaborating with partners we can offer further flexibility and choice to meet community needs for shopping locally with ease, speed and safety. Delivering what our Members and customers want, when and where they need it.”

NAM Implications:
  • Best anticipate a full roll-out…
  • …and find ways of participating.
  • Easier now than later.
