Nisa has revealed that 100 partners (retailers) have already signed up to its new rebate terms, Fresh Rewards.
Launched just over 10 days, the model provides the opportunity for retailers to unlock an up to 5.5% rebate from the wholesaler. The new terms reward retailers based on their weekly order value, as well as stocking Co-op own-brand products. Additional benefits are also available for being a Nisa fascia store.
Nisa quotes several retailers that have signed up. Lisa Ryan, from Whitehouse Nisa in Londonderry, said: “It’s a straightforward scheme which will save us money on marketing costs, and reward us for our weekly Nisa purchases. There is no unnecessary admin, so we can concentrate on the business of selling.
“We already stock a large number of Co-op lines and are looking forward to enhancing our product range as well as providing more choice for our customers. The flexibility and rewards of being a Nisa partner, along with competitively priced products and access to quality Co-op lines has ensured that we are in a position to provide a wide range of products, giving value to our customers. We are looking forward to future with this fresh thinking approach.”
Hitesh Patel, at Virginia Quays in London, added: “Nisa’s new rebate scheme is simple and better. It’s much easier for a retailer to achieve and to get the benefits. We would like to thank Nisa for listening to retailers and making it simple and straightforward.”
Martin Rogers, who heads up Strategy and Transformation at Nisa, commented: “The positive feedback we’ve already received from our retailers and from experts across the industry is testament to the strength of the offering and it’s great to hear that they really can see how Fresh Rewards will bring greater value.”
