SPAR Selects Preferred Software Supplier For Worldwide Operations

SPAR International has selected LS Retail as a preferred supplier for retail management software for its operations around the world which includes more than 13,500 stores in over 48 countries.

LS Retail is Microsoft’s largest independent software vendor for retail software. The LS Retail software solutions extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with specialised industry functionality. With LS Retail software, companies can manage their entire business, from financials to back-office tasks, inventory, point of sale (POS), loyalty, and customer experience within the same system. More than 500 grocery and supermarket chains already use LS Retail software.

Tom Rose, Head of International Operations at SPAR International commented: “We are pleased to partner with LS Retail in support of our SPAR wholesale and retail operations worldwide. They are a leading expert in unified business software solutions, and we are certain they will play a major role in supporting the SPAR business globally, all within one platform.

“At SPAR, we are continuously looking at ways to improve and add value to our business. We welcome the opportunity to work with partners such as LS Retail to help enhance and grow the SPAR brand in communities across the globe.”

Kristjan Johannsson, Chief Commercial Officer at LS Retail, added: “Our unified commerce solutions provide retailers with the industry functionality and detailed insights they need to offer great customer experiences both in person and online. For a leader in its industry like SPAR, it makes perfect sense to choose a solution tailored for the grocery vertical which is built on agility, reliability, and intelligence. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact our solutions will bring to SPAR partners worldwide.”

The agreement will see LS Retail develop a software template which SPAR country organisations worldwide will be able to adapt in their preferred language to run their stores.
