Superdrug Unveils Weekly Discounts Promotion

Superdrug has launched its latest initiative to attract cash-strapped consumers during the cost-of-living crisis. The ‘Feel Good Fridays’ scheme will offer what the health & beauty chain claims are the biggest weekly discounts it has ever promoted.

Exclusive to members of Superdrug’s Health & Beautycard loyalty programme, a selection of products across skincare, beauty, fragrance, and personal care will be reduced by up to 60% every Friday. These deals will appear alongside its existing Star Buy offers, so shoppers can benefit from discounts every Thursday and Friday.

The launch of the promotion comes after Superdrug froze the prices of over 130 products earlier this year to help customers struggling with the rising cost of living. As well as savings on essential personal care items, the retailer noted that Feel Good Friday offers will include more ‘treat’ products to help people continue to look and feel their best.

Jamie Archer, Own Brand Director at Superdrug, said: “We are working hard to help customers cope with the rising cost of living and want to stay ahead and continue to offer our customers the best on the high street offers. Our latest ‘Feel Good Fridays’ initiative, offers our members the biggest discount we have ever done as a brand and will allow shoppers to treat themselves to a selection of essential and pamper products each week, to not only help with the costs of everyday must-haves but also give shoppers the chance to enjoy the little luxuries at this time.

“We have seen in recent months the impact that the cost of living is having on everyone. To be able to offer a range of amazing, best on the high street prices to our Health & Beautycard members is a move that we hope will put a smile on our customers faces and will continue to ensure that everyone has access to quality and value across all our products.”

The Feel Good Fridays promotion has launched today, with a different selection of products reduced in price by up to 60% each week for H&B card members.
