Boots Launches Major Healthcare Campaign For Women

Boots has launched a new campaign called ‘Our Health Is As Individual As We Are’, which champions women’s health and highlights new support available from the health & beauty retailer.

It will run for six weeks and be supported by TV, out-of-home, print, social media, in-store activations, and online activity.

The campaign is expected to reach an estimated 11.8 million women across the UK and will target women of all ages going through different stages of their lives.

As part of the initiative, Boots has expanded its Price Advantage scheme to include a wide range of women’s health products.

The retailer is hoping to improve awareness of the various healthcare services available in its store and online. This includes over 15 dedicated women’s healthcare services like the Boots Online Doctor Menopause and HRT Treatment service, which has seen a 235% increase in treated orders in the last year.

The Boots Health Hub has also been enhanced to make it easier for customers to navigate healthcare information, advice, products and services, organised by healthcare conditions.

Boots has also launched new training modules for its 4,500 pharmacists that provide information on four key areas of women’s health: periods, fertility, pregnancy and menopause.

Claire Nevinson, Superintendent Pharmacist at Boots, said: “We’ve been championing women’s health for over 170 years. It’s great that over the last few years there’s been more awareness and conversation around women’s healthcare areas like menopause and periods.

At Boots, we are taking an active part in that conversation and provide our customers great value products and services that they can conveniently access online and in our stores. Our pharmacists are always on hand to offer expert advice for patients, whatever their healthcare issue.”
