PZ Cussons Reports Growth In Q3

PZ Cussons has reported a rise in revenue for its fiscal third quarter, helped by price hikes and changes to its product offer.

For the quarter ending 4 March 2023, like-for-like revenue was up 6.2% to £166m. The results were boosted by a 9.9% jump to £49.3m in Europe & the Americas, 7.7% growth to £68.4m in Africa, and a 1% uptick to £47.6m in Asia-Pacific.

PZ Cussons said results were boosted by demands for its St. Tropez self-tanning brand, as well as for Imperial Leather and Cussons Creations.

CEO Jonathan Myers noted: “This represents a sixth consecutive quarter of growth, with the business underpinned by the strength and depth of our portfolio and our ongoing strategy to invest behind our brands, build internal capabilities and serve consumers better … We remain confident in delivering against 2023 expectations and that further strategic progress will be made in the balance of full year and into 2024”  .
