Free-From brand, Angelic, has launched the first dedicated kids’ top 14-allergen-free biscuit offer in Ocado to support safer snacking policies in schools.
Angelic Safetylicious Oat Squares come in Raspberry & Apple and Banana & Chocolate variants, each in a multipack of four individually wrapped flapjack-style squares (RRP £3.00).
Free from multiple allergens, including nuts, dairy, soya, eggs and gluten, the Angelic Safetylicious Oat Squares range has been developed to take the worry out of kids’ snack times and are the first children’s biscuit to meet the criteria in allergy free school policies.
According to Allergy UK, most schools in the UK will have one or two children with a food allergy, with numbers set to rise. The insight behind the Angelic Safetylicious NPD came from Founder Kirsty Dingwall’s first-hand experiences of her own son’s food allergies and the lack of options she could trust.
