Mission Foods is launching a first-to-UK retail market branded ‘XL’ tortilla wrap. It offers 30cm of wheat tortilla, compared to standard 25cm branded wraps and 20cm own-label wraps.
Mission’s new Plain XL Wraps, available exclusively in Asda from this week (RRP £2.00), will become the largest branded tortilla wrap in the UK.
The new launch will complement the brand’s existing lineup of products, taking the range from five to six wraps – including the Chargrilled Wraps and Wheat & White Wraps.
Julie Stevens, Head of Marketing UK & Ireland, Mission Foods, commented: “For certain mealtimes and appetites size really does matter and a regular wrap just isn’t always enough. Our new XL wrap is the perfect choice for burritos, or simply for the extra hungry foodies and we are excited to be the first to offer a branded 30cm wrap in the UK.”
