Aldi Scotland has secured a deal with spring water supplier Highland Spring to stock its Sparkling Fruit Flavoured Water Cans in its 104 stores.
The deal, which sees Highland Spring branded products stocked in Aldi for the first time since 2021, will initially bring more than 75,000 units to shelves. Aldi will unveil Pear & Elderflower; and Blackberry, Plum & Hibiscus editions this Thursday, priced at 99p each.
Highland Spring first launched its range of Sparkling Fruit Flavoured Water in 2021, and has sold more than 1.4 million to date, making it one of the supplier’s most successful ranges.
Graham Nicolson, Group Buying Director, Aldi Scotland, said: “Highland Spring is one of Scotland’s great food and drink success stories. Its naturally sourced Scottish water products are exceptionally popular with customers, and we are excited to bring this range of sparkling flavoured water to shoppers for a fraction of the price.”
He added: “Since our Scottish buying department was established in 2009, we have remained steadfast in our vision to support local suppliers in bringing quality products to shelves at competitive prices.”
Simon Oldham, Managing Director, Highland Spring Group, commented: “We are delighted Aldi customers in Scotland will now be able to ‘feel a surge of sparkling fruitiness’ by selecting our Highland Spring sparkling flavoured cans. These products offer great tasting flavour combinations and all the credibility of our well-established brand. This is the first time a Highland Spring branded product has featured on-shelf in Aldi for some years, and we are very excited about this partnership.”
