Toblerone Targeting Gifting Market With New Truffles Range

Mondeléz-owned chocolate brand Toblerone is rolling out a new addition to its range, Toblerone Truffles.

Toblerone-TrufflesMade with honey and almond nougat, the new product brings shoppers the quality of the classic Toblerone product in the form of diamond-shaped truffles, ideal for gifting.

Available from this month, the launch aims to help grocers grow their premium gifting segment, worth £384m, all year round and recruit Gen Z adults and Millennials.

With more shoppers tapping into premium gifts year on year, the company stated that the Toblerone brand has high growth potential within the category, particularly across the high-end seasonal gift-giving and sharing occasions, driven by its strong heritage.

The new truffles are diamond-shaped, with a shell of Toblerone chocolate and a smooth centre with tiny pieces of crunchy nougat for a new truffle experience.

The Toblerone Truffle launch will be backed by media and PR activity, bringing to life the new ‘Diamond shaped, Never Square’ campaign, and in-store support.
