Asda Adds 47 New Products To Food-To-Go Range

Asda has launched 47 new lines and 18 improved lines in its food-to-go range, with many influenced by global food trends.

asda-food-to-gokatsu-wrapIncluded in the £1.2m range refresh are deli-style sandwiches and salads, with on-trend and classic fillings. The range also includes a variety of thick sub rolls, pasta dishes and deli-style wraps, along with 19 new snacking lines.

New sandwich lines include Pastrami & Emmental New York Style Deli, Chicken, Mozzarella and Slow-roasted Tomato Deli, and Beef and Chutney Deli Sandwich, all priced at £3.50 each.

There are also new vegetarian options such as Falafel & Houmous Wrap (£3.50) and the Slow Roast Tomato & Feta pasta (£2.50), whilst the deli-style range extends to salads, with a standout product expected to be a Chicken and Red Pepper Hummus Grain Deli Salad (£4.00).

Responding to growth in the popularity of Korean and Japanese food, the new offering includes Indian Masala Wrap (£3.50), Katsu Chicken Wrap (£3.50) and Chicken Tikka Sub (£3.50), along with the Vegetable Sushi Snack Pack (£1.50) and Topped Katsu & Teriyaki Chicken Sushi Pack (£4.00).

All products in the new range can be purchased in Asda’s meal deal (mix and match 3 for 2, cheapest item free).
