Astonish has launched The Thing, a new cleaning paste destined to “take the cleaning industry by storm”.
Rolling out in Poundland (RRP £1.00, 450g), The Thing has been formulated with a fruity fragrance, with its pink paste able to cut through dirt and grime. Available in six different designs, The Thing’s ‘go-to’ messaging reflects its wide range of uses.
The launch follows Astonish’s new Cleanfluencer Edition, which saw the manufacturer collaborate with cleaning influencers to give popular products a twist using new product scents; resulting in 23 bottles of the new range sold every minute in the first week of launch.
CEO of Astonish, Howard Moss, said: “We’re delighted to have added The Thing to a superb wide range of products across household/laundry cleaning, and personal/hygiene care. Designed to be used by anyone with a mess to clean, it was important to us that the product used vibrant colours atypical to those other cleaning products on the market, and had bold messaging and disruptive packaging to make a statement.”
The Thing will also be sold by The Range from 12 August.
