Jason’s Sourdough has announced the launch of two new Bake At Home products, marking its move into the part-baked category.
The brand stated that it had identified a gap in the market for a premium, authentic sourdough loaf in a shape and size not currently available in part-baked.
Jason Geary, Master Baker at Geary’s Bakeries, commented: “The sector has seen limited innovation and creativity in recent years and we’re aiming to change that. We’re continuing our Sourdough revolution, delivering both innovation and convenience straight to your kitchen.”
Set to launch in Waitrose and Ocado this month, the range consists of two products, Bake At Home Large White Boule (400g) and Bake At Home Mini White Boules 2-pack (250g) – both with an RRP of £2.50. Packed in modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) flow-wrapped film, the loaves have a shelf-life of up to six weeks.
NAM Implications:
- Having lived on Jason’s regular output for three years…
- …we have to add our endorsement to a ‘must-have’ part of our diet.
- Cannot wait to try their Bake at Home range.
