Heinz has partnered with Saputo Dairy UK’s cheddar brand Cathedral City to launch its latest innovation, Heinz Cheesy Beanz.
The product, which is Heinz baked beans mixed with Cathedral City cheddar, was developed after research by the company revealed that 47% of consumers in the UK thought that beans and cheese were one of the best food combinations.
Alessandra de Dreuille, director of meals and insights from Heinz, said: “We know Brits absolutely love pairing beans with cheese and so we’re thrilled to finally announce our partnership with Cathedral City – bringing beans lovers up and down the country the ultimate perfect match.”
Neil Stewart, head of cheese marketing at Cathedral City, commented: “We’re so excited to be teaming up with Heinz to bring this truly unique and delicious flavour to the UK. With 64% of brits agreeing that cheese makes beans even tastier, it feels like a no brainer.
