Applied Nutrition has signed agreements that will see its products sold in Tesco and Costco.
As part of the new listings, Tesco is now stocking Applied Nutrition’s Diet Protein Powder and Costco will offer the brand’s supplements later this month.
Applied Nutrition’s 450g Diet Protein Powders are available in Tesco at an MRRP of £13 including Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate variants. The supplement combines a selection of key ingredients that are known to support weight management to deliver a low carb high protein blend.
Costco is also set to offer Applied Nutrition’s Original Critical Mass Gainer 6kg format in Chocolate flavour from 18 March. Designed for people who find it hard to gain body mass, the Critical Mass Gainer provides a calorie-dense formula with high levels of protein and carbohydrate in every serving.
The newly listed products, manufactured at the company’s Knowsley factory, will help to maintain Applied Nutrition’s position as one of Europe’s fastest-growing sports nutrition, health, and wellness brands.
Applied Nutrition Group CEO and co-founder Tom Ryder said, “New research shows that the global sports nutrition market was worth $21bn (£16.6bn) in 2022 and is expected to grow to $52.5bn (£41.5bn) by 2032. With such incredible growth predicted, more supermarkets and wholesalers are realising the sales opportunities presented by this fast-growing category.
“We’re thrilled to announce these new listings and increase the availability of our products to cater for today’s shoppers who are more health-conscious and are looking for protein products that support weight management and promote a healthy lifestyle. This also provides an enormous boost to our colleagues, with all our powders manufactured in our Knowsley factory, as we continue with our plans for strong growth.”
