Founder Of Costcutter Joins Board At Ascona

Ascona Group, the 7th largest independent forecourt operator in the UK, has announced that Colin Graves has joined its Board as a Non-Executive Director, effective 1 April.

After beginning his career at SPAR, Graves went on to found Costcutter in 1986. He served as Chairman of the symbol group from its inception until 2012. During his tenure, the Costcutter estate grew to over 1,700 stores.

For the last six years, Graves has served as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Nisa, a supply partner of Ascona.
