The Wrexham Lager Beer Co, the family-run business which recently featured on the hit Disney+ documentary Welcome to Wrexham, has secured new listings in Asda and Sainsbury’s stores in Wales.
From 1 May, its Wrexham Lager 440ml Export cans will be sold at nearly half of Sainsbury’s stores across Wales, whilst the Wrexham Lager 4x pack 330ml Export bottle and 330ml 12x Pack Lager bottle will be on sale in more than half of Asda stores in the region, in addition to the Export 330ml bottles already stocked.
The new listings follow The Wrexham Lager Beer Co’s brand identity refresh last month, featuring stronger and brighter colourways across the can format and bottle labels to be more impactful and have greater stand out on shelves.
The business is looking to expand following the hiring of industry specialist James Wright as CEO six months ago.
