Kallø has extended its Veggie Cakes range with a new Thai Curry variant that aims to meet the growing demand for Asian flavours.
Kallø Thai Curry Veggie Cakes have gone on sale in Waitrose and Ocado at a promotional price of £2.00 (£2.75 RRP). The HFSS-compliant snacks contain 13 jumbo-sized veggie cakes and can be eaten plain, topped or dipped.
They join Kallø’s jumbo rice, corn and lentil cake portfolio. The brand noted that Veggie Cakes are growing through penetration (+37.7% YoY), bringing in new consumers to the category by inspiring the next generation with on-trend NPD.
The Veggie Cakes range is led by top seller Beetroot & Balsamic, as well as Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar, Spinach & Pesto, and Caramelised Onion Chutney.
