Surrey-based Hogs Back Brewery has secured a new listing with Aldi over the summer trading period.
The discounter will be selling a new range of Cocktail Beers brewed by Hogs Back. Inspired by classic cocktails, Passion Fruit Martini, Peach On The Beach and Strawberry Daiquiri, the 4% ABV pale ales are said to have a light, refreshing flavour. The beers are packaged in 440ml cans and will retail at £1.79 in more than 900 Aldi stores from 30 June.
Hogs Back’s head brewer and deputy MD, Miles Chesterman, said: “Served chilled, these beers capture the essence of summer cocktails enjoyed al fresco on a warm evening, as well as the enjoyment of a well-crafted beer made with award-winning English Cascade hops grown in our own Hop Garden.
“We think they’re the perfect summer drink for beer lovers looking for something a bit different, and we’re looking forward to seeing the response from Aldi’s customers.”
