VIVIR Tequila, the British-owned Blue Weber Agave tequila brand, has expanded its listing in Waitrose.
VIVIR Tequila’s Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo Tequilas variants will see increased distribution, and the brand will introduce its Café VS Tequila Coffee Liqueur onto shelves in 248 Waitrose stores.
The brand noted that the expansion is a testament to the growing demand for premium Tequila options amongst consumers in the UK. IWSR drinks market analysis predicts the super-premium tequila category will become twice the size of gin by 2027.
