Aquafresh is continuing to cater to changing consumer demands by launching a new Kids Battery-Powered Brush. Designed specifically by dental experts for children aged 6 to 12, the toothbrush includes a tapered front tip designed for effective cleaning of hard-to-reach areas.
Brand owner Haleon noted that over two-fifths (41%) of children have missed one or more days of school due to oral hygiene concerns or needing treatment. Recent research by Aquafresh also found that nearly 1 in 2 children have experienced low confidence because of how their teeth look.
The new Kids Battery-Powered Brush aims to help parents implement a consistent oral health routine for their children. The brush includes soft bristles and a specially designed flex zone between the head and the grip on the toothbrush that helps control pressure when brushing and is gentle on gums.
Kate Fabrikant, Medical Affairs Director, Northern Europe at Haleon, commented: “We know how important children’s oral health is and believe that establishing healthy oral care habits starts during childhood. The new Kids Battery-Powered Brush from Aquafresh is our recommended solution to encourage independent brushing from a young age, with specifically designed features that make it easy for children to use. This innovation allows us to deliver on our mission of bringing products to retailers and dental professionals that help parents keep their children’s teeth healthy as they grow.”
The Aquafresh Kids Battery Brush is rolling out in Sainsbury’s with an RRP of £7.50.
