Leading hard seltzer brand White Claw is set to launch its vodka range in the UK next month.
One of the biggest spirit launches ever seen in the US, White Claw vodka will be available in four varieties – Premium (unflavoured), Black Cherry, Pineapple, and Mango – designed to be mixed with any of White Claw’s hard seltzer range.
White Claw Vodka is the world’s first Triple Wave Filtered spirit, which means it has significantly less sugar than other flavoured vodkas. Filtered using the equivalent pressure of three 30-foot waves, the distilling process is said to bring out the natural sweetness of the American grain used to make the vodka, reducing the need for additional sweeteners and eliminating the need for syrupy mixers.
The Premium (unflavoured) vodka has a 40% ABV, while the three flavoured lines have a 30% ABV.
Since its debut into the US Spirits category in 2023, White Claw Vodka has garnered significant acclaim, including a Double Gold for its unflavoured Premium variant at the New York International Spirits Competition. Its flavoured varieties have also received high praise, with Black Cherry earning a Gold Medal with a 95/100 score at the International Wine & Spirits Competition, Pineapple securing a Gold Medal with a 95/100 score at the New York International Spirits Competition, and Mango being honoured with a Double Gold at the SIP Awards.
Michael Dean, Marketing Director UK at White Claw, said: “We are so excited to introduce White Claw Vodka to the UK market and give consumers a new, fresh option in the vodka space to bring new flavour to your social occasions.
“Our Triple Wave Filtering process sets a new standard in the spirits industry, delivering a level of smoothness and clarity that is truly unparalleled. By harnessing the power of the ocean, we’ve created a vodka that not only complements our existing range of hard seltzers but also offers a fresh and exciting way for consumers to elevate their cocktail experiences.”
White Claw Vodka will be available from the brand’s website on 20 September and Amazon in October.
