First Prebiotic Soda Launches With Ocado

Prebiotic fizzy drink XOXO Soda has been listed on Ocado. Having first launched to market in May 2023, it is claimed to be the first soda of its kind to support gut health.

XOXO-prebiotic-sodaThe drink is currently available in retailers across the UK and mainland Europe, including SPAR, Albert Heijn, Whole Foods, Zapp and Amazon, with further expansion planned for next year.

The brand stated that its meteoric rise in the soft drinks space can be attributed in part to consumers becoming increasingly conscious of its gut health. It pointed to data showing that 9.5 million people in Britain feel uncomfortably bloated on a consistent basis, with diet playing a significant role in the problem. XOXO Soda aims to make gut health mainstream with six flavours that balance functional benefits and the taste consumers expect from soft drinks.
